Don Bambrick’s debut pro model is a distinctive skate. Its uniqueness derives not just from its denim blue hue, but from its remarkable skating attributes: The Bambrick is, without a doubt, the swiftest sliding skate straight out of the box. Thanks to the baseless skate concept, skaters are positioned closer to the soul plate, enabling superior balance via a lower centre of gravity and simplifying the execution of soul tricks. Performing alley-oop topsides is significantly less demanding compared to conventional skates, and it feels as if the soul plate is directly beneath your foot. The expertly grooved backslide plate, coupled with Ground Control’s Featherlite frame, creates the ideal balance point for groove tricks, making it far easier to sustain one-footers like backslides and torques for prolonged, more controlled grinds. The large heel pad reduces road shock and shields knees and ankles from impact discomfort during sessions. Additional outstanding features include its surprisingly light weight and the almost legendary durability and strength, offering complete support even after many months of skating.
