Fit is consistent with other Hestra Size 9 Gloves (specifically I have lots of experience with Downhill skiing gloves and mittens from Hestra and Size 9 has always worked for me). These Windstopper Race Tracker XC ski gloves aren't particularly warm...but when you get moving at a comfortable running pace their breathable membrane insures you don't have your fingers lock themselves into an icy finger freezing prison. It eliminated the ice-up from sweat which would lead to ice-cube fingers at only -2C from my old Auclair gloves! I also got the over-mitts and the liners...all in same size 9. I would recommend going size 10 for the over mitts...but the Size 9 wool liners, Windstopper, and Over-Mitts all fits together...just more snuggly than I think would be optimal to help trap more warm air to increase the temperature range application of this particular system of hand layering!

My finger tips froze inside these gloves - but it is possible that's because I got the size wrong. I normally wear large gloves, but these were a little long for me.

Reply from SkatePro:  Thank you for your review. The main characteristic of these gloves are their wind breaking ability. They are made with cross country skiing in mind, so them being not too warm, as the skiing is quite intense. If you need any help with finding warmer gloves, you are very welcome to contact us via phone, chat or email@skatepro.ca /Doreen
