Description

Megacruiser Frame set from Powerslide with 3 x 125mm wheels. A set with frames, wheels and bearings. Easy to mount and super comfortable to ride on. Three-wheeled inlining is the wave of the future. Faster, more controllable and lighter. The centre wheel acts like a pivot point making these frames highly manoeuvrable.

The wheels on this Megacruiser frame set are made with the super comfortable Pleasurethane compound from Powerslide in a fast 85A hardness. Pleasurethane ensures fast roll speed, good grip and long lifetime. ABEC 9 Freespin bearings from Wicked are installed and come with Japanese oil lubrication for great speeds.

	My son bought these with his birthday money (he is 13). He found that the screws were very soft and one actually stripped when he tried to take the wheel off. I wrote to SkatePro to see if I could buy another screw from them since they are not available on any other website and I was told that I was not able to buy them from them either. So, basically the skates have been sitting collecting dust. I guess I'm going to have to take a drill to the screw and wait for the replacement screw from another website to be delivered in March. Poor kid really liked them too so we are going to wait the three months for the replacement.

	I bought a pair and mounted on Seba High Light. After a day of testing next day I skated 40 km easily and repeated the same route a week later. I am an amateur, skating for less than a year. I heard such big wheels are good for tall guys. I am not tall and still I am happy with this frame and the new experience. I wish the set was a little bit better quality though. The frame is somewhat twisted. Which makes it difficult to extract and mount back some wheels. So you may get frustrated if you wish to change between frames. Bearings got dry after 50 km and some wheels almost did not rotate in free spin. After cleaning and lubricating bearings all is fine again. Overall, this frame and wheels are good and a good value, too.

	I skate on a competitive level and for that cause this is a terrible frame. The screws are very soft, so they are very easily broken. The frame is also bend weirdly, especially when you remove the screws. I expected a lot more quality from powerslide.

	Ganske gode rammer. Tynn aluminium, men den funker bra. Hjulhøyden er ikke noe stort problem. Gikk fra 90mm til 125mm uten noen store problemer. Triller lett og er raskere enn 90mm. Det som er en utfordring med oppsettet er vekten. Hele pakken veier ganske mye og det kjennes på skøytene. Alt kjennes ut som det må gjøres saktere. Fordelen er uten tvil mindre vibrasjon fra underlaget og litt høyere hastighet på grunn av mindre rullemotstand. Kommer helt klart til å bruke disse en del, men kommer fortsatt til å bruke 90mm oppsettet på grunn av større stabilitet, bedre manøvrerbarhet (3x90mm pluss 1x86mm). God ytelse i forhold til pris.
