Base Kit Prep Ski Glide Wax

A comprehensive glider kit designed for your cross-country skis.

Combi Brush
Graphite Glider (suitable for all temperatures)
Glider (Can be utilised for cleaning and saturation)
Scraper
Pencil Groove Scraper

1) Open the base structure: Employ the combi brush in the glider zones, applying it 2-3 times.

2) Cleaning of used skis (For new skis, proceed to step 3): Use an iron (available separately) to warm in the glider within the glide zones. Once the glider wax sets but retains some warmth, use the scraper to remove the glider. Follow with the combi brush, applying it 2-3 times in the glide zones.

3) Warm in 2 layers of glider wax using an iron. Start with 1 layer and allow the skis to cool down. Then proceed with the following steps:

a) Use the pencil groove scraper to scrape the middle guide of the base
b) Remove the glide wax from the rest of the base with the scraper
c) Apply the combi brush 2-3 times in the glider zones
d) Next, add the second layer and once more, let the skis cool down before repeating the aforementioned steps.

4) Apply abrasion-resistant layer: Use an iron to warm in one layer of graphite in the glider zones to enhance abrasion resistance. Let the skis cool down and follow these instructions:

a) Remove the middle base guide with the pencil groove scraper
b) Scrape off the remainder from the base with the scraper
c) Use the combi brush and apply it approximately 15 times until the base gleams.
