What Is a Kids BMX Bike?

A kids BMX bike is essentially a smaller version of a standard BMX, tailored for younger riders. These bikes are designed with genuine BMX geometry to ensure a high-quality product and provide your child with an authentic BMX experience. Similar to larger BMX bikes, kids’ BMX bikes are durable, fast, and lightweight. They are made from either steel or aluminum.

Kids BMX bikes can be purchased as complete bikes, meaning they are ready to ride straight out of the box. However, as your child progresses in BMX, they might want to personalize their setup with individual parts.

What Is the Right Size BMX for my Kid?

To maximize their BMX experience, it is crucial that your child gets the appropriately sized bike. This is typically determined by your child’s height. The taller your child is, the larger the model they will need. The size of a BMX is usually measured by its wheel size and top tube (the top bar of the frame).
