Brian aimed for a tyre with minimal rolling resistance, which resulted in the FT1 tyre being designed with a very low profile pattern. Consequently, the FT1 boasts a relatively smooth centre section, contributing to its exceptional speed.

The edges of the tread pattern feature smooth tread blocks, providing protection to the sidewall when grinding on street ramps or during intense skatepark sessions.
