Build-a-Scooter Assembly

If you purchase this service, SkatePro will assemble and test your custom scooter. This requires that you have all the necessary parts to build a custom scooter (either you provide them to SkatePro or order them together with this service).

A custom scooter will typically be built from the following parts:

• Deck
• Brake (sometimes included with the deck)
• Rear axle hardware (often included with the deck)
• Fork with axle (please note the compatible wheel size)
• Bar (if you choose an oversized bar, select an oversized clamp as well)
• Clamp (1 or more. If you choose an oversized bar, select an oversized clamp as well)
• Grips (possibly Bar-Ends if not included)
• Headset
• Grip tape
• 4 bearings and 2 pieces of 8mm spacers
• 2 wheels (ensure the size fits the fork)
• Compression kit (either Internal or Hidden)

Assembling custom scooters requires special tools and patience. We recommend that custom scooter assembly is only performed by qualified personnel.

• Please note that assembling a custom scooter is a service, and therefore, it is non-returnable if you purchase this service.
• The scooter and any parts it may contain are also non-refundable once they have been assembled to your specified setup. If disassembled, the parts are no longer considered new and cannot be returned.
