District's SCS forks feature an exceptionally long stem. This can make them difficult to assemble with components from other manufacturers. It is advisable to use the Volcano Topcap, also made by District. This will provide the necessary lift on your compression to ensure it is secure. The concave design on the lower inside of the Volcano Topcap will even accommodate your current headset.
