Recife Surfskate

The Recife Surfskate from Long Island Longboards offers a pleasant width, vibrant summer graphics, and an overall pleasant setup for cruising along the promenade.

This season introduces Surfskates into the Long Island longboards collection. These are a range of cruiser-style boards equipped with 150mm reverse kingpin trucks. The baseplate features a distinctive shape, allowing for a wide array of pivotal turns, causing the trucks to pivot sharply and providing a feel reminiscent of surfing.

Although not as nimble in turning as, for example, a double kingpin designed truck, it offers greater stability and a more solid feel when you are leisurely cruising. Consequently, if you wish to use this board as an authentic surfer, you will need to employ effective carving techniques to generate forward momentum.
