Catamaran 18/19 Backcountry Skis

The Catamaran is part of the Factory Team Collection from K2, featuring a waist width of 120mm, along with asymmetric tip and tail. It boasts a substantial and buoyant design—ideal for surfing through soft, deep white snow. The factory series focuses on surfy, manoeuvrable, and playful experiences.

These skis use Double Barrel construction, incorporating dense Fir and lighter Aspen wood cores. The Fir, positioned along the edges, ensures robust edge-to-edge performance, while the Aspen at the centre offers a lightweight and lively feel. Longitudinal carbon stringers complete the design by adding rebound and dynamic attributes.

Equipped with full sidewalls, these powder machines are designed to enhance power transfer and provide excellent edge grip. The pronounced and extended Powder Rocker tip and tail further increase their floatation capabilities.
