Description
Fischer Speedmax cross-country skis - For those aiming for optimal results.
Fischer is renowned globally for crafting exceptional cross-country skis, with the Speedmax reigning at the pinnacle.
Fischer themselves describe these World Cup skis with the phrase "The champion takes it all!"
These skis in the cold edition feature DTG World Cup Cold Structure and Cold Base Bonding, ideal for cold and dry snow/weather conditions. This means the base structure is fine and flat, making it perfect when snow crystals form in cold weather, containing more air. Furthermore, the base offers excellent wax absorption to maximise speed.
Fischer Speedmax IFP Classic Cold skis are constructed using carbon fibres and an air core carbon, lending the skis a lightweight feel and superior torsional stiffness for optimal power transfer.
These classic cross-country skis come premounted with the IFP (Integrated Fixation Plate), designed exclusively for Fischer and Rossignol Turnamic bindings. Ski boots compatible with Turnamic bindings include: Turnamic, Rottefella NNN, and Salomon Prolink.
Recommendation: Choose a ski that corresponds to the skier's weight plus a ski length approximately 25cm above the person's height.
