Instructions:
Basic stunt scooter assembly skills are necessary. We recommend reviewing our guide prior to beginning, accessible via the link Assembling a custom scooter here.
Upon receipt of the kit, start by cleaning your old scooter and remove the old headcups situated in the headtube.
- Use a screwdriver to remove them and, with a hammer, insert the new ones. Place a wooden block between them to prevent damage to the deck or new headcups.
- Insert the headset bearings into the newly fitted headcups.
- Next, measure the length of the new stunt scooter fork extending into the bar from the top of the headset up to the starnut, pre-inserted in the bar.
- Ensure that the compression bolt engages with the starnut to streamline the system. If the starnut isn't adequately high in the bar, use a screwdriver to adjust it. If it's positioned too far up, a replacement starnut is included.
- Adjust the compression to achieve your desired level of spinning performance.
