The Full Flex technology is employed to ensure excellent movement in key areas.

• Water Gate Plus

Panels located at the back next to the zipper serve to prevent water ingress.

• Robust

In the knee regions, L-Tex nylon is incorporated to boost protection and durability.

• Aqua-A

Aqua-A is a water-based glue free from solvents used in all Ion wetsuits.

• Seam reinforcements

For added strength at stress points within the wetsuit, Ion have reinforced these areas with Melco tape. Ion advises: “If you find the suit was inadvertently left in the boot of your car on a hot day, the tape might begin to peel. Don't worry! Use a warm iron gently over the area as the adhesive is heat-activated.”

• Contour Cut

Wetsuits designed to follow body contours enhance both flexibility and comfort. All Ion wetsuits feature contour cut.

• Drain Holes

Drain holes are incorporated to prevent water build-up where fabric layers overlap. These holes will not enlarge.

• Leg Loop

Removable Velcro loops at the lower legs are included to prevent water entry from below.

• Sunglass Loop

A webbing loop on the neck of the wetsuit allows for the attachment of Ion sunglasses.
