This is the Shadow Optimized freecoaster hub crafted for freestyle BMX wheels. As pedalling is not required when riding backwards, you gain more liberty to progress with fakie tricks. This hub allows for the assembly of an exceptionally durable wheel using 36 spokes. Hubs featuring male axles like this one are secured to the dropouts with a nut.
