Description
Go Project Freestyle bearings are crafted with exceptional strength, making them ideal for skating styles that involve significant side-load and leverage (such as sharp turning, freestyle, slalom, big wheels, etc). They operate with remarkably low torque and are infused with an ultra-light oil. Instead of SEVEN, they employ SIX Chrome Steel ball bearings, which helps reduce friction. Each ball is slightly larger than standard bearings, making them perfect for sports involving substantial vertical load, like inline skating.
Although Go Project Freestyle bearings can be likened to an ABEC 7 rated bearing, Go Project does not utilise the generic ABEC scale for rating bearings, as it is irrelevant to the specific tolerances required by inline skating. The superior quality of manufacturing and materials far exceeds the significance of a rating based on ‘revolutions per second’. The Freestyle bearings have a Speciality Rating of 4.5/5, denoting their performance when used as skate bearings.
