Although the Shock Sleeve Knee Gasket from Ennui might not provide the same degree of safeguarding as a heavily padded, hard-cap protector, it compensates for this by permitting much more freedom of movement and less restriction.
An internal layer of supple Lycra is equipped with silicone strips to minimise slipping. Integrated into this is a specially crafted substance - SPC - conceived by the development team at Ennui/Powerslide in collaboration with the experts from MyFit, who create skate liners for Powerslide.
This substance will not just absorb impact loads but also aid in distributing them across the construction, ensuring the impact on your joints is minimised as much as possible. Complementing this material is a cap structure made of TPU, known for its high abrasion resistance, with a design that is highly articulated, providing exceptional freedom of movement.
A notable advantage of this soft-shell protection is both its light weight and its capability to be worn discreetly beneath your everyday clothing, allowing you to maintain a fashionable appearance while being fully protected.
