The Shock Sleeve Pro Elbow Gasket by Ennui may not offer the same level of protection as a thickly padded, hard-shell guard, but it certainly compensates for this with its ability to let you move freely during your action sports.
An elastic knitted cotton sleeve is internally lined with silicone strips to avoid slipping, ensuring a secure fit and keeping the pads consistently in position. It is equipped with a uniquely developed material, SPC, created collaboratively by the Ennui/Powerslide development team and the experts at MyFit, who manufacture skate liners for Powerslide.
This material not only absorbs the force of an impact but also helps to distribute it across the structure, reducing the impact on your joints as much as possible. The Pro model includes an abrasion-resistant Kevlar coating, offering greater flexible comfort and protection compared to the non-pro version and allowing even more freedom of movement.
The noticeable advantage of this soft-shell protection is its light weight, along with the ability to wear it discreetly underneath your usual clothing, enabling you to remain stylish while being comprehensively protected.
In addition to crash protection, the pro version guards against slides with its highly abrasion-resistant Aramid fibre cover. It's an ideal choice for downhill longboarders and speed skaters. This pro model is also slightly lighter than the non-pro variant, weighing almost nothing.
