The vision of SHRED was set in motion in 2006 by Olympic and World Champion alpine skier Ted Ligety, alongside Carlo Salmini, a materials engineer passionate about the mountains. They collaborated to establish SHRED for enthusiasts of the mountains, including skiers, snowboarders, and mountain bikers, aiming to instil a sense of confidence and safety during their adventures.
