We're sorry to hear that the paint is going. Indeed, as explained by email, due to their use and proximity to the ground, trucks are subjected to a lot of friction, which deteriorates the paint. Also, as the paint is blue, it's easier to see the scratches than on grey trucks, as blue on grey metal is bound to be more noticeable than grey on grey metal.
