Hummer 2018 Waist Kitesurfing Harness

The Hummer from Ion is a multi-purpose harness. Its design, featuring soft edges, a cross link, and diminished side cuts, highlights excellent freedom of movement along with a comfortable and snug supportive fit.

This harness is ideal for freestyle, wave, and freeride sessions.

Features:

• Soft Edge and Extended Soft Edge

The harness edge is crafted with extra soft neoprene, further enhanced by a special foam to optimise the comfort of wearing it. The Soft Edge curves sideways at the hips and ribs for added comfort.

• Split Edge

To achieve a closer fit around the body, the Split Edge, a divided buckle plate, ensures the harness sits nearer, enhancing both comfort and power transfer.

• Cross link

Cross link is an enhancement of the webbing with a crossover design that spreads the load across the back.

• Belt Garage

Pockets that shield and protect the buckles using a rubber patch. Convenient storage for the webbing.

• Kite Knife

In case of emergency, having a kite knife is advantageous for cutting lines. This harness includes an integrated kite knife.

• Invisible Seam

These seams allow for a smooth transition from the harness's midsection to the neoprene soft edges.

• HPL Slider

The slim handle at the back incorporates a stainless steel ring for connecting the handle pass leash.

• Protection Pad

The spreader bar in metal is updated with a webbing connection that better distributes the load and prevents the spreader bar from twisting horizontally.

• Wrap Tec

This harness is pre-moulded to ensure excellent fit and support.

• Push Button Spreader Bar

A user-friendly spreader bar release system that boosts safety and comfort.

• Bar Keeper Belt

The construction of the bar keeper belt helps to maintain the spreader bar in a low position. It connects the bottom of the spreader bar to the lower part of the harness.
