Gareth MorganCorsham, United KingdomVerified Buyer4 of 5I think the Braces are made well and super easy to put on. I'm a size 10 and so should have bought a medium however I somehow ordered the Large by mistake and so not surprisingly the velcro for the laces end up in places where I wouldn't expect them to like under the sole of my foot. This is my mistake and so I mention it to try to stop others doing the same.
I think if I'd have ordered a smaller size this wouldn't be an issue. My main wish for these braces is to reduce dorsi flexion of my ankles when I land big jumps etc but they don't really do that. I'm not sure if this is due to having the size too big or because they're not supposed to but I wanted to give them a try. They are made very well and easy to put on. I think that if they do what you're looking for then they're a great brace but due to the size issue then I'm not 100% sure on how they perform properly. If there were the right size I could maybe adjust them better. As I said though, well made.Reply from SkateProThank you for your feedback! We appreciate your detailed comment about the fit and functionality of the ankle brace. We are glad that you are satisfied with their quality. We hope the correct size will provide the support you're looking for. / SkatePro Teamle moigne charleyPertuis, FranceVerified Buyer5 of 5Very goodArtis ArbidansEngure, LatviaVerified Buyer5 of 5very comfortableGiorgio De FrancescoFoggia, ItalyVerified Buyer5 of 5ExcellentRuhlmann TimothéeFegersheim, FranceVerified Buyer5 of 5I've tried others and these are really comfortable. Anti-shock and ankle support while having a little ankle flexibility to handle manuals! Just great!Øyvind K. SvendsenTrondheim, NorwayVerified Buyer4 of 5GoodJohannes NilsenAskim, NorwayVerified Buyer4 of 5Pros:
easy to adjust, no laces.
fits well and is comfortable if adjusted correctly, take care and adjust the plates so they fit comfortably, be sure to pull the support up so it fits, tighten the straps but not too tight.
You don't get too hot.
Cons:
but easy to lose the plates, they slide up and can fall off, it has happened several times, so you have to check from time to time,
but they can do this when you put them down.
the Velco wears out quickly, at least on the set I have.
I noticed I was a little warmer in the summer, but not a problem.Sandro CadeteEstoi, PortugalVerified Buyer5 of 5Good product, expensive but good.Mateusz WojtynaKrasnystaw, PolandVerified Buyer5 of 5The best ankle protectors. For me they are perfect. Used for skateboardingMatei C.VALLAURIS, FranceVerified Buyer4 of 5Very good and effective. Perfect protection against sprains and even bumps.
The only downside is that the Velcro holding the diagonal straps in place wore out after just one year, and they're essentially held in place by the horizontal strap (the one with the logo on it).
