I bought the same mitts for his older brother some years ago and I have the adult version. I hesistated to buy them for the 6 year old any sooner because they outgrow them and there are quite pricey to buy. However he was complaining of cold hands and I knew these would solve that problem. He has worn them sledding, ice fishing and to school for outdoor play time with his kindergarten class. He loves them because they are red (his favourite colour) and because they keep his hands warm. I consider them an investment. SkatePro had the best price - I shopped around before ordering them. They arrived earlier than scheduled and I have absolutely no complaints.
