This video demonstration will guide you through installing EST bindings onto your snowboard. Burton EST bindings utilise the channel system, which is among the most prevalent snowboard binding systems today:
- Begin by ensuring your binding is an EST type. It should contain a channel insert.
- Use a flat screwdriver to detach the rubber cover from the channel.
- Place the EST mounting hardware inside the channel.
- Proceed to open the binding.
- Remember, the board comes with a suggested mounting position.
- Align your binding with the hardware recently inserted.
- Push the channel insert down to fix it within the channel.
- Utilise the supplied screws and commence screwing them into the board with a Phillips screwdriver, keeping them loose initially.
- Ensure the binding moves without restraint at this stage.
- Adjust the binding according to the markers marked on the board.
- Finally, tighten the screws completely and put the rubber cover back in place.
Your bindings are now securely installed!
