Grizzly Griptape

Grizzly Grip tape is a skateboarding brand that produces a range of grip tape, apparel and skateboard hardware. The brand is one of the best known in skateboarding and offers an extensive product range including anything from Grizzly skateboard decks to t-shirts to skate wax. However, the brand is still most famous for its tape, and products such as the Bear Grip tape are recognised for their sleek designs and smooth finish.

The brand was founded in 2002 by Torey Pudwill when he was just 12 years old and began to experiment with developing his own grip tape at home. Since those humble beginnings, Grizzly has become an influential name in skateboarding and its famous bear logo can be found at skateparks worldwide.

Over the years, Grizzly has also developed a successful skate team featuring big names such as Mark Appleyard, Shane O’Neill and Luan Oliveira.
